A: Many parents are like this. I suppose your mother doesn't want you sitting around the house all the time after you graduate high school taking up space and being idle. I worked from the time i was 15 years old, and it didn't kill me. Perhaps your mother feels it's getting close to the time you need to learn about responsibility and taking care of you.. after all, once we are adults, no one else will take care of us. i wish you all the best. maybe you can get a part time job now... and maybe you can think about college. whatever you do, good luck on your journey!
